Jennie Elaine Taylor is a novelist, designer, and illustrator located in central Illinois.
Writing under the penname Jennie Elaine in honor of her grandmother, Jennie spends her time burning through books, writing books, illustrating books… and some other hobbies that pop up on occasion.
She has an AA from Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg, IL, and a BA with a focus on Studio Art from Monmouth College, Monmouth, IL. She’s always had a hyperfixation passion for reading from an alarmingly early age and her love of fantasy and storytelling has driven her to excel in art and, eventually, writing.
When she is not earning a paycheck or insurance at her full-time job, Jennie works contract work designing novel covers, illustrations and generally annoying her friends. Her debut illustrated novel, Melded, was released in 2024 to rave reviews.
